Alex earned their journalism qualifications from City University in 2023. Graduating with a master's in Magazine Journalism, Alex specialised in pop culture, podcasting, and video editing. 

Previously, they studied English Literature at Durham University, which they completed with a Year Abroad at Humboldt University, Berlin.

They also founded a music magazine, worked at the student radio station and acted as co-editor of the Film and TV section of the university newspaper. 

Born in Seoul and raised in Sydney, Alex moved to London in 2012, where they have resided ever since.
